Job Summary
AECOM is actively seeking a dependable, highly motivated Resident Project Representative II to support water, wastewater, and water resources projects throughout New England. (Flexible placement regarding a designated home office within our AECOM New England geography.) The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
+ Observe the contractor?s work progress in the field
+ Prepare daily and weekly reports
+ Serve as the primary liaison between the engineer and the contractor throughout all phases of the project
+ Tracking, reviewing and responding to contractor requests for information
+ Tracking and reviewing shop drawing submittals
+ Reviewing monthly progress payment requests
+ Reviewing and negotiating contractor change order requests
+ Compiling punch lists, testing, and commissioning
+ Prepare red line drawings for record drawings
+ Represent the engineer and client to regulatory agencies visiting the field site
+ Project closeout
Minimum Requirements
+ Bachelors degree in engineering preferred
+ Knowledge of applicable construction codes and regulations
+ Excellent communication skills for interfacing with internal and external contacts
+ Excellent problem-solving skills
+ Strong computer skills
+ Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
+ Responsive to changing demands
+ Must be able to travel to job sites throughout New England.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
