Principal Microwave Design Engineer

Analog Devices Inc.'s (ADI's) Aerospace and Defense (ADEF) Module and Subsystem group designs RF/Microwave products ranging from 1GHz up to 70GHz for commercial, military, and space applications. Products include receivers, transmitters, low spur/phase noise synthesizers (DDS and indirect), high-power GaN amplifiers, and multifunction modules.
ADI's Aerospace and Defense business has an open position for a Principal Microwave Engineer who will design cutting-edge integrated modules and subsystems ranging from miniaturized multi-chip modules and SiPs to high power rack based subsystems. You will work in a collaborative team environment and interface with digital, software, and mechanical engineers, process engineers, program managers, and production personnel through all program phases from research through design and production.
Successful candidate will be a technology leader in ADI's Integrated Solutions department driving development of complex high-integration multi-chip assemblies that leverage ADI's integrated circuits across the entire signal chain from antenna-to-bits. Products cover a range of commercial, military, and satellite applications. The position requires strong design skills and proficiency with CAD modeling tools applicable to amplifiers, up/down converters, synthesizers, and high-speed data converters.
Interface with other company staff involved with IC design, manufacturing engineering, program managers, business development, sales, and division management throughout all program phases of research, design, and production. Requires strong organizational skills, significant prior experience with integrated module products and applications, and proficiency with design modeling tools.
The candidate will contribute in the following areas:
Design multichip module from DC to 40GHz +
Identify suitable architectures, evaluation of chip level and system trade-offs, developing design specifications
from customer requests and marketing inputs.
Prepare proposal documents, including technical, cost and schedule estimates.
Execute technology roadmaps and benchmark plans through release of products.
Direct supervision of product design teams.
Planning and organization: set and manage priorities, adapt to change, drive progress of activities, issues, risks
and deliverables to closure.
Problem solving: quickly assess situations, collect relevant information from subject matter experts and drive
manageable solutions.
Act decisively and make clear, timely decisions in the best interests of the project.
Creativity and innovation: explore new options to bridge project challenges or improve processes, identify and
address challenges across functional boundaries.
Lead cross functional development teams through influence across multi-site development organizations; stay
focused on solutions, remain positive under pressure.
Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills, focusing the message and details appropriate to the target audience.
High speed converter experience is a plus.
Exemplary collaboration skills: establish and maintain positive working relationships with others, foster teamwork
and bridge differences to achieve project goals.
Qualifications
BSEE/MSEE/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent experience
15+ years' experience in microwave / millimeter wave module design technologies with working knowledge of MMIC circuits.
Proven track record of team leadership, innovation, and execution
SECRET clearance required

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
