Systems Applications Engineer (Power Conversion Systems) - Automotive Vehicle Electrification:
The Analog Devices, Vehicle Electrification (VE) group is seeking an experienced Automotive Power Systems Applications engineer to join our Vehicle Electrification development team. The charter of the Vehicle Electrification (VE) group is leading edge product development focussed on opportunities for increased electrification in next generation vehicle platforms. This includes precision (electronic and magnetic) sensing solutions for automotive electrified systems in braking, power steering and general ride control/suspension systems. The group's brief also covers high-power product developments in power conversion systems in the fast growing area of electric vehicles (EVs), such as high-power conversion in traction inverter system, on-board charging systems and general DC-DC conversion solutions. With a goal to deliver leading edge, innovative solutions, sustainable growth and Automotive Quality in all aspects of our development activities, this role in the VE group will present significant opportunities for the successful candidate to grow his/her technical and professional skills as part of a highly motivated, hands-on, leading edge technical development team.
The Power Systems Application Engineer will be responsible for leveraging key internal product developments to deliver power conversion systems (traction inverter, On-Board Charging and DC-DC converter) across emerging automotive platforms which highlight both the strength of ADI's solutions and the specific benefits for Power Conversion automotive applications. This role is aimed at an experienced, enthusiastic and self-motivated Senior Systems Applications Engineer who will be required to liaise with the appropriate stakeholders within ADI's automotive business and product development teams and other relevant Product Technology Groups. In addition to building excellent working relationships within the development organization in ADI, the role will also require significant system and product level technical engagement with both end customers and development /technology partners across the target applications.
Identifies emerging technical trends in automotive power conversion systems and translates these system trends into product proposals that drive the development of ADI's Automotive Power Systems technology and product roadmaps
Understand and define customer power system needs, and translate them into technical requirements that form the basis of our new product definition process
Develop technical collateral including technical documentation, System level training materials, customer evaluation and system demonstration platforms, demonstrating functionality and performance of ADI's leading edge products
Develop understanding of emerging automotive power conversion systems and develop competitive analysis reports
Develop and support relationships with key system partners including Power Switch Vendors, Module Makers and OEMS
Develop and support ADI's products from a systems perspective, which includes components, hardware, software from both Analog Devices and 3rd Party Partners
Support customers in their design-in process through product selection, evaluation, identifying partner products and design
Collaborate with the broader development team on executing our programs including IC design, design evaluation, test engineering and marketing
Engineering degree or equivalent with at 5 years' experience in an Automotive Applications or Systems Engineering role
Experience in Power Conversion System Design including high voltage traction inverter and on-board charging systems
Understanding of automotive product development process and functionality safety (ISO26262) compliance a distinct advantage
Strong hands-on system/board design, debug and evaluation skills
Strong initiative, judgement and organizational skills
Effective time management skills and ability to handle multiple projects with cross-functional teams across the organization; prior experience in such a role would be beneficial
Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to develop and articulate product requirements as part of a broader strategy

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
