Senior Software Architect - EDA

As a (Senior) Software Architect at our Chelmsford site you will be a key technology leader for our Allegro product line. You will be recognized as an expert within Cadence; driving innovation and development of our Allegro products/technologies, as we bring about transformational changes in enabling System level design. You will have material responsibility for our product/technology strategy and success that benefits our customers and Cadence.
Key Responsibilities include:
+ Leads the largest cross-functional programs and initiatives with the highest resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity
+ Develops advanced software code based on customer requirements
+ Provides consultation, design input, and feedback for application development and design reviews across multiple organizations and architectures
+ Supports the development of strategic Software Engineering objectives and activities
+ Communicates highly-complex ideas to executive leadership; anticipates potential objections and persuades others to adopt a different point of view
+ Uses sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgment and identify innovative solutions
+ Expected to solve difficult product issues
+ Leads multiple highly-complex projects of diverse scope where analysis requires an understanding of current business trends
+ Leads others to solve issues of diverse scope
+ Partners with peers, account leaders, members of the Field and develops key customer relationships
+ Typically interacts with high-level Individual Contributors, Managers, Directors, VPs and key executive-level employees, but also acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments
+ Leads multiple projects requiring cross-team collaboration
+ Acts as project lead when interfacing with customer
+ Expected to present at industry conferences/seminars
+ Regarded as the expert in their particular discipline within Cadence
+ Applies in-depth expertise in discipline and broad knowledge of other closely related areas to improve efficiency of team
Requirements:
+ Have EDA Algorithmic depth with Solid proficiency in relevant technologies and programming languages (including but not limited to C, C++)
+ Bachelors in EECS or Computer Science and/or Math + 15 years of related experience, or Masters + 12 years of related experience, or PhD + 10 years of related experience
+ Background in EDA algorithmic knowledge to include:
+ Experience in parallel programming and distributed computing
+ Expertise in algorithms for EDA including but not limited to: Graph algorithms for physical design, Computational geometry algorithms for CAD, Partitioning and Placement algorithms, Experience in Routing algorithms
+ Experience in working on DRC, Parasitic Extraction is a plus
+ Experience with Group Theory, Applied Graph Theory, Network Flows is a plus

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
