SUMMARY/SCOPE OF POSITION:
The Engineering Co-op works under the direction of a firmware design engineer performing system modeling, testing and tools development for sensor and safety product development.
Essential Functions:
Ability to use Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
Strong problem solving and debugging skills.
Able to multitask and handle a large amount of detail.
Quick-learning self-starter who works well with a dynamic team.
Accept and complete in a timely manner the assignments delegated tohim/her by his/her manager or supervisor.
Basic
Qualifications:
Pursuing a Bachelors or advanced degree from an accredited college or university Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.
75 on a 4.
0 scale Legal authorization to work in the US is required- we will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or anytime in the future.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Working toward a BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related Demonstrated knowledge of C/C+
and/or other middle to high-level language Knowledge of Python is desirable Knowledge of GIT or other source control tool is desirable Interest in Microprocessor design Familiarity with oscilloscopes and other basic laboratory equipment.
Knowledge of Digital Signal Processing is desirable.
