9K - $72K a year 12 days ago 12 days ago 12 days ago Job Description The RF/microwave amplifier design group is seeking an amplifier MMIC design evaluation technician for developing world class RF/microwave/millimeter-wave GaAs and GaN LNA/driver amplifier/power amplifier MMICs.
The design evaluation technician will be responsible for automated rack-based characterization system development, lab data collection & analysis, and assisting the design engineer in debugging and characterizing MMIC amplifiers and T/R modules.
The candidate must have a firm understanding of RF test techniques such as S-Parameters, NF, TOI and gain Compression, harmonics and intermodulation distortion.
In addition, this candidate must be a self starter and possess good written and oral communications skills.
Shift Schedule:
2nd--3pm-11:
30pm Requirements Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering with 5
years experience.
Proficiency with RF/microwave test equipment and measurement techniques, e.
g.
, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, power meters, etc.
Experience with loadpull / sourcepull measurements is a plus Must have excellent teamwork and communications skills RF & Microwave theory is a plus GaAs/GaN semiconductor process knowledge is a plus MMIC experience is a plus as well Must be a US citizen or green card holder, or be able to obtain a license to work on export controlled products Job Type:
