Summary:
TeledyneFLIR Unmanned Ground Systems is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer. In this role, you will have significant responsibility for the mechanical architecture of parts and assemblies used in robotics applications. Leveraging your experience in the design of complex electromechanical systems, you will contribute to the development of technologically sophisticated and innovative new products for the defense and security marketplace.Primary Duties &
Responsibilities:
Provides complex mechanical engineering analysis, design and documentation input towards the development and manufacture of ground-based robotic systemsApplies skills in 3D CAD (Creo) design to prepare models and drawings of complex parts and assemblies, including CNC machined parts, sheet metal, injection molded plastic parts and cablesUnderstands and articulates technical risks and design margin throughout the development processLeads methodical root cause analysis and rapid resolution of design/development issuesInitiates and completes Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) within Windchill PLM to create and revise parts, assemblies and BOMsJob
Qualifications:
BS in Mechanical Engineering6 years minimum experience in product development of mechanical systems4 years minimum experience with 3D CAD, preferably using PTC Creo4 years minimum experience with the design of industrial or military products for low volume manufacturing and operation in harsh environments (environmentally sealed enclosures, EMI-related design considerations).Design and development of motion control systems, actuators, gearing and complex mechanismsProduct Data Management software, preferably with PTC WindchillExperience using rapid prototyping methodsHigh level of technical writing proficiency (specs, test plans, reports, white papers, etc.)Ability to direct the activities of technicians, interns, and CAD designersDemonstrated ability to work on multiple projects and meet aggressive goalsApplicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce. Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
