Summary:
The position is responsible for the administration and management of the bid and proposal submission process for North America Sales. The Bid & Proposal Manager will be responsible for coordination, implementation, maintenance and creation of compelling proposals and bid responses to drive new business and negotiation of terms to secure contract awards. This will involve coordination and collaboration with various internal departments and business units as appropriate to ensure company procedures are followed.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for development, compilation and submission of bid responses and proposals for all markets. Reviews/edits proposals and ensures all proposal schedules and deadlines are met. Develops content for proposals with input from subject matter experts. Ensures proposals are compliant with rules, regulations, policies and procedures set forth in the solicitation requests and in compliance with company contracting guidelines. Completes redlines of bid terms for submittal for legal review or senior management approval, as per contracting guidelines. Incorporates responses into contract language, drafts and develops language as it relates to bid and RFP/RFQ responses Prepares margin analysis and price files relating to the bid Researches and generate utilization reports for sales team to determine bid pricing Manages and is the sole bid/proposal database administrator Maintains contractual records and documentation such as, bid, bid submission, price lists/spreadsheets, and resulting contract awards within designated databases Prepares status reports on completed proposals (wins/losses) and performance. Drafts and files bid related protests as applicable or disputes Implements awarded contracts by verify pricing, uploading and/or activating in Oracle Responds to contractual queries in an informed and timely fashion Performs other related duties as assigned. Skills Requirements:
Capacity to utilize critical thinking to analyze complex procurement requirements relating to bids, special provisions, pricing, internal approvals, and terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations and corporate policies Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, detail-oriented and has experience in supporting a high-volume sales team. Able to disseminate tasks and direct personnel within various departments in order to deliver a complaint and comprehensive proposal Reliable, highly organized, motivated, and able to excel in a deadline-driven environment Ability to work independently to manage competing priorities and deadlines. Professional level skills in both oral and written communication Excellent interpersonal skills, with a positive attitude Strong organizational and time management skills Strong research skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel and Word Required/Preferred Education and
Experience:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or equivalent combination of education and experience; equivalent combinations of education, training and experience will be considered. Minimum of 5 years' experience with bid submissions, and contract management required. Other Duties:

Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
